Why small batch matters

A small batch isn’t a marketing word for us. It’s a constraint we chose. When you roast a few kilos at a time, you can hear the beans crack. You can pull a sample, taste, decide. You can stop a roast the moment it’s ready, instead of the moment the timer ends.

Large batches roast on averages. Small batches roast on attention.

That’s the only difference. But it’s the whole difference.
